Bonneville - Next Event: SpeedWeek August 1st - 7th, 2026

Bonneville Land Speed Racing is a unique sport that consists of very determined people who drive hot rods, roadsters, belly tankers, lakesters, motorcycles, streamliners, and even diesel trucks to "shoot the salt" in a simple quest to have their name added to the list of many record holders.

FACTS ABOUT RACING AT BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS. 

• Each entrant must be a current member of the Bonneville Nationals Inc. or SCTA
• Each entry must register their vehicle and pass vehicle safety inspection
• Each vehicle driver must fill out a Drivers Medical Form.
• Each new driver must go through Rookie Orientation before they will be allowed to drive a vehicle on any of the race courses. Rookie Orientation Booklet (View)
• All event workers must fill out a Workers Medical Form. 
• Each worker, entrant, crew member and guest MUST sign the insurance waiver (at registration trailer) and purchase an armband in order to be on the starting line or the surrounding area including the inspection area.
