That's A Wrap!

The picture is the beginning of the SCTA Racing News by Wally and Mary Parks and Claude Clinton. It reflects the pioneering spirit of the SCTA community—men and women who helped shape the foundation of hot rodding and speed timing on the dry lakes. The lesson is - you never know how long something will stick around. 

We had a great end to our 2025 season. World Finals two years in a row and the El Mirage Nov meet with 5 rounds. Nineteen rookie runs at the Nov El Mirage meet is a great number to see. We have the younger folks filling in as some retire.

The spirit is alive and well these 85+ years later. I’m excited about moving into 2026 and look forward to being back on the dirt and salt.
